Our stay at The Bear Inn was perfect for the purpose of our visit to Llandovery. Honestly, the accommodations are rustic. But my grandson and I were in Llandovery to explore our Welch roots going back hundreds of years. The atmosphere of the inn and its accommodations gave us the perfect experience of what life must have been like for our Welch ancestors.

Charming but not for everyone

One night stay

Book for one night got the wrong day but was not able change on agoda Web site thankfully got intouch with Bear inn and they had no trouble changing date, very helpful staff. On arrival nice welcome and nice size room with what you needed.

Exceptional

Wonderful staff, lovely location for jaunts into the Welsh countryside. Town super friendly. Best to cycle in this region. Location slightly noisy until 9pm as the rooms are directly over the bar/restaurant. But noise doesn't continue after about 9pm.. Staff very accommodating and thoughtful about food allergies, holding luggage after check out, etc. Definitely would return again.
