Great place to stay in the centre of Caernarfon that offers the same facilities (excluding breakfast) as the local *** but considerably cheaper

Not a pleasant room to spend time in: - overhead light quite bright (shade looks cool but doesn't cover the bulb) - no shower mat so had to get floor wet when stepping out of shower. As shower is not in a separate room, this means a wet bedroom floor. - no hook for towel near the shower. One on back of toilet door but you have to step or drip water over the floor to reach that. Would be good to have a hook just outside the shower - no shower gel or shampoo, only had handsoap in toilet - would have been good to have a shelf/similar in shower too for said shampoo and shower gel - no chair in room at all. - no rug so the laminate floor, having got wet, was not pleasant. - mattress very soft - one bedside light did not work - the board above the shower door was unpainted plaster board, but with straeaks of paint from the ceiling on it, so looked unfinished - toilet very small to turn around in. No wonder that the rooms are non-refundable. The email address of the contact person bounced back. A Travelodge room, much nicer, was only a few pounds more. In its favour, it was clean and had tea and coffee facilities, a toilet and shower. The decor was quite cool but just seemed as if it had been rushed - as if someone had chosen a coll lampshade but not tried it out, and certainly above the shower was unfinished. I would not recommend!
