Lovely weekend
We stayed here over the weekend as we were attending a wedding in the area. Staff were brilliant from start to finish, breakfast was lovely and they catered for dietary requirements with no issues. The rooms are modern and comfortable and had tea and coffee. There aren’t many plugs but that would be my only gripe. The pub itself was lovely and the food looked great, we were sad not to get to enjoy a meal there. Overall it was a great stay and we would happily return. Thanks to the lovely staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Two night escape
Jackie and staff at Talbot Hotel in Berriew are 1st class spotlessly clean and great food. Jackie is an encyclopedia of local knowledge and always willing to have a chat and give advice. I went up to see Powys Castle and Gardens which was well worth it. You can stay a lot closer if you want but you would miss out on so much of the Canal and wildlife it hardly seems worth it.

Absolutely fantastic
Emma (daughter 10) and I (dad) absolutely loved staying here. We were welcomed and Emma immediately spotted an easter trail event the hotle was running. It was absolutely fantastic as we got to explore the village and take lovely photos. Our rooms were very good. Nice and clean and the carpet looked new and of thick premium quality. The shower and toilet was brilliant. Couldn't have asked for a better flush and multi functional shower head!
