The Elephant & Castle Hotel
The Elephant & Castle Hotel- 8.78명 평가
The exterior and the communal areas could do with a bit of TLC (and a stronger vacuum cleaner) but I can't fault the room itself. Spacious., clean, very comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Location is excellent - riverside and within walking distance of everything in this small town. Truth told, it is a little expensive for what it is, but I suppose there are slim pickings in this part of the world. This would probably be better priced at about 2/3 of what it is, but for one night, I was happy and comfortable enough.

Perfect for our stay
Only there for one night but the rooms were very clean, breakfast was exceptional - freshly cooked and plenty of it. The hotel is an older type coachhouse type building so not a sanitized premier in type layout but character, even if that means a few stairs and some creaky floorboards.. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
