The Bell Hotel

Arrived at the hotel. There was no one at reception or indication of what to do. A box of keys for rooms was open to anyone who walked in. Phoned the owner. He said he'd get someone to deal with me and hung up. The hotel cleaner comes and takes me too my room. At first it seemed the lamp has food spat on to it. But it seems it's actually paint and plaster that has dripped down through the electrical fitting. I notice that the door's lock does not work. Anyone can come in. So I have to carry my belongings with me when I leave. At this point I want to try and get a refund, but don't want to waste my time with it. Decided to get through the short stay and be done with it. I look up the hotel online and find it has dozens of abysmal 1/5 ratings of very bad stays, not just dirty. Multiple reviews note this is accommodation for drug addicts, that people try and enter rooms during the night, and notes on extreme filth. As night draws on there are inebriated sounds coming through the wall, so I use a chair to block entry enough that I will know someone is trying to enter. Return to the hotel and it's locked. No way in. No one there. The owner doesn't reply to two calls. After 30 minutes the cleaner appears and lets me in. Never stay here under any circumstances.

This is not a hotel - it's somewhere drug addicts are housed, who you can hear inebriated during the night. No reception. Filthy interior. No lock on the door. I was left on the street - the hotel locked and the owner not answering.
