Good stay

amazing room with beautiful view close to the piedra. the hotel has many activities. The water at the lake is warm and i would recommend the jetskis. the chocolate massage was very relaxing. It is very close to the flight path of the helicopter tours and that would have been unbearable but thankfully they stop early and dont run if the weather is questionable. I was there with light rain so it was only a little bit of helicopters but if it was constant i would have left for somewhere else

El hotel es tan hermoso y cómodo que no provoca salir a explorar otras areas de la región! solo la piedra del Peñol que está a unos cuantos minutos del hotel. La comida es una maravilla, la vista es del otro mundo y quedamos fascinados con el lugar. Definitivamente volveremos en otra ocasión

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Hotel Los Recuerdos and would not recommend staying here. From the moment we arrived, the service was shockingly poor. We walked in, clearly as guests ready to check in, and were completely ignored. I handed over my passport and stated I was checking in—no greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. We arrived at 1:30 PM and were told check-in is at 3 PM. Fair enough—but when I asked if rooms were available, they said yes. Despite that, they refused to let us check in early due to “hotel policy.” No flexibility, no effort to accommodate, just a rigid and unhelpful response. I explained that we wouldn’t even be there for the included breakfast the next morning, hoping for some basic customer service or compromise. Still denied without any consideration. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told there wasn’t one available. Later, they claimed to have called a supervisor—but refused to let me speak with them directly. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a hotel. Poor communication, lack of basic courtesy, and zero willingness to help guests. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else.

Has alot of potential but the staff are not attentive, service is poor & food is average at best...(((1 -Exception= the sushi in the rotating bar is amazing!!!)
