Bungalow rudimentaire, vous avez le minimum dans la chambre, un papier toilette, un frigo, deux serviettes et la climatisation. Pas de savon, shampoing, bouilloire ou autres. Le petit-déjeuner n’est pas terrible, les œufs brouillés baignent dans l’huile de friture (saveur Pad thaï). La dame de l’hôtel est sympa mais nous bouscule un peu pour le Check out genre à 10h si elle peut faire déjà la chambre et ensuite nous annonce un Check out à 11h alors que sur Agoda s’est noté 12h. Attention, la plage est très sale avec pleins d’ordures un peu partout.

Good location, easy to get from airport, short walk to street foods, local restaurants. I stay in fan room so it’s value for money to me but it’s relative to what your definition of VFM.

The hotel is very old, and it clearly hasn’t been renovated in quite a while – you can definitely see the wear and tear. That said, the location really saves the whole experience. The restaurant staff is absolutely outstanding – incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. On the other hand, we barely saw any hotel staff, and there was little to no communication with them throughout the stay. One important thing to note: rooms are divided into those with air conditioning and those with only a fan. If you’re not careful when booking, you might end up in a “fan room,” which essentially just means they take away the A/C remote and give you a small floor fan – not even a wall-mounted one. In hot weather, this can be really uncomfortable. Unfortunately, upgrading the room later isn’t easy either, as it’s quite hard to communicate with the staff. Also, everything inside the room – from doors to furniture – is very old and visibly worn. If you’re planning to spend a lot of time indoors, this place probably isn’t for you. But if you’re just here for the beach and excursions, then it’s worth considering. The beach access is stunning, the garden is beautiful, and again – the restaurant is truly a gem.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a bit far from, well, everything… but in my case that was an advantage. The rooms are very basic and Thai style. The bed is acceptable – not super hard but not super comfortable either. The location isn’t great if you’re looking for nightlife or parties but it’s great to just disconnect. The staff is universally wonderful. And the location on the beach can’t be beat. Overall, a good stay. I think the pricing was fair for what you get (and what you’re giving up). I’d be happy to come back.

Feels like coming to Thailand 20 years ago before all the amenity-filled guest houses. Very spartan but great beach access, bungalows are in decent shape, and Lolita is a great host. If they wanted to update everything, could easily get 2-3 times as much per night.
