Positive: * Very spacious room, spacious bathroom (with plenty of daylight) and an even more spacious living room with a well equipped kitchenette. We had the entire living room to ourselves since the other room sharing it was not occupied. Being vegetarians, we prepared our breakfast and dinner in the room from Instant food packets we had brought from India. * Bright and airy with plenty of wire mesh door panels to let all the air in the world in. * Solar water heating system supplying hot water to the bathroom, the wash basin and the kitchenette sink. * Courteous staff. * Indian Garden Restaurant next door. * Brown's beach (not recommended bathing due to sharp slope but for views) within walking distance. * Though we did not just the swimming pool, we found it very clean and decent sized. Negative: * The owner was away and his main assistant Lakshan on night duty the second day. Only Madhu, a charming lady with an infectious smile was there and ever ready to help but we didn't have a way to contact her. * No generator or inverter despite it being a place with 12 bedrooms. There was power failure for over 3 hours from 9 pm on our first night there. It was pitch dark. There were not even any candles in the room. We had to call Lakshan, who had gone home, to bring a couple of them. It took him some time to bring them since he had gone home. * No doors have stoppers and keep banging shut if kept open. * No hooks to hang used cloths on for airing.

Good value hotel in a quiet location yet close to the beach and restaurants. Friendly staff, nice pool. Breakfast adequate. Uber 2500 from airport.

Très bonne accueil , emplacement idéal proche de tout, le gerant nous a bien aider sur une partie de notre parcours, bon petit déjeuner , personnel agréable . Grande chambre avec balcon vu sur la piscine . Je recommande à 1000%

Loved the pool, loved the location. The apartment was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The staff were super welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended stay.

The place is well-maintained. It's clean and just what I need to relax, enjoy the pool and explore the quiet vibe of Negombo. It is a few minutes walk from restaurants and beach too. The room is spacious and the owner, Mr Chad is hands-on with taking care of his guest house. He makes sure I feel comfortable and most of all, he is helpful in giving suggestions and even lending a hand if needed. I recommend this to solo travelers, couples and even a family staycation. Definitely a good value for your $$$.
