I read some bad reviews on this property. I was hesitant to decide to stay here at first. However, I've got a hunch this place would be to my taste. I was happy to find I was right when I got here. Hibiscus Villa is a very unique place that meets my expectation. The owner is a man of artistic sense and common value. The staff are kind and know what they are doing. I am very positive this property should deserve much higher rate. I have been traveling around over the past four decades, so I have started in many types of accommodation around the world. I strongly recommend this place to fellow travelers who are going to visit Galle or Unawatuna. A senior traveller from Korea

The house is perfect for newly married couples and familes as it offers plenty of privacy and safety. The villa has 4 large rooms with courtyard bathroom and colonial furniture. The owner and its staff especially Nadith have ensured that everyone who stays here enjoy the OG colonial style living. The owner upgraded our room with a beautiful balcony type private access verandah. They served us with the traditional srilankan breakfast but believe me they understood that we were a bit uncomfortable so they prepared very tasty food the next morning with curry and special chutney which both of us loved a lot. Nadith gave his scooter which really saved our time, we just paid him LKR 2500 plus 500 for petrol as almost all the pumps were closed that day. They have a beautiful garden with lot of birds, squirrel, monkeys whom they feed daily with food and water. We just loved their compassion towards animals and nature. The 6 dogs especially *** were like entertainers to us when we got tired after day long trip. It is just 100 metres away from the lovely Unawatuna beach Security wise it's perfect

Nice room with a super breakfast. Amazing staff and owner. Good location and quiet area. The guest house is very well kept. Worth it 100/100.

I arrived very late and they are very accommodating.
