the location is near Oga station which is almost an hour away from akita staion via local train. However, it is the most affordable accommodation during the akita festival season. I didn't have a hard time locating the place since I searched the place prior to arriving. I just had a hard time communicating with the host on the day of checkin with regards to the checkin details. Agoda is masking some details in the official agoda message box thus had to communicate with the host via email. Just take note that it will be very dark going to the area if you arrive in the evening. The place is clean and comfortable.
