"We try" are words used in a notice in the 'Joas' room that detailed that as a cost saving measure the room had no hot water. Unless I missed it this note in the profile on the website, I don't remember having seen anything about it prior to booking. "Budget res" is a rather apt description for this home turned guesthouse. I saw this site describe it as "6.0 - Pleasant" and from the photos here, it felt like it was going to be. Between only getting one roll of toilet paper, old dried coffee in the decanter, a bathroom door that doesn't fully close, no soap, no shower door nor curtain and low water pressure, I can confirm that the stay was an experience. I wouldn't explicitly call it unpleasant but the stay left a great deal to be desired. Free Wi-Fi and parking were advertised and were experienced, I will give them that. Apart from the aforementioned items, I'd believe things to improve this space would be a bell at the gate to alert 'the receptionist' on duty of someone waiting outside as we got lost and tried calling the number on the website and sign outside (which turned out to be the same number) and received no answer it. We eventually found the right gate and hooted outside (not exactly something courteous to do at night for nearby neighbours) and the Wi-Fi code written on a card or notice. Wishing the people there well and growth.
