Booked here after reading some very good reviews online and checking out the website. This was branded as a ‘luxury’ villa with with the website advertising ‘service, facilities and experience’ with tours, yoga classes, spa and photos of cocktails on a bar. Unfortunately this was not the reality; the room was dark and had mould (standard room), it was also not cleaned throughout the 3 days we stayed there. The facilities were great- the location was beautiful away from the main road surrounded by coconut trees, peacocks roaming and a pool with deck chairs. However the spa onsite was clearly a long time out of use and was absolutely filthy and was not cleaned before we tried to use it. The food was very good- the Sri Lankan curry was excellent and large portion sizes. Many items were missing off the menu from both food and drink sections - despite using photos of cocktails on their website they don’t actually serve any. Breakfast was also good- toast, omlette, fruit platter. The staff were very helpful aswell, helped with restaurant recommendations and allowed us to borrow a yoga mat. Overall this didn’t meet our expectations, the main disappointment was what it was advertised as compared with the cost and reality. What we got was quite a basic villa experience, and I wouldn’t stay again for what we paid

Beautiful site nestled in a coconut estate with a great pool. Across the road from the beach. Staff is helpful upon request but didn’t really provide details of operations and had to setup your own cushions at pool ( limited sunbeds) and we felt they were unpreparede for guests— having to get our own chairs for our terrace , request towels, ask for WiFi (it never worked), and room was never remade / water never refilled. Payment was not required upon arrival but rather in evening late at night knocked on door to request payment as we were preparing for bed. Overall the facilities were beautiful and staff was kind but I don’t think it’s worth the price tag.

My girlfriend and I stayed there for a few days to celebrate her birthday. The staff were lovely and very helpful with organising a cake and a beach front dinner for her birthday. In general the staff were very attentive to all of our needs, the villa and grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious with open roofed bathrooms that are very nice. The pool water was not completely clear but we swam in it no problem. Breakfast was fairly nice although there weren't many options.

Hadun Villas is visually beautiful set over large lawned grass. Needs a bit of a whip around to bring it up to exceptional. But lovely rooms, staff good and having dinner over the road the road is a bonus. Not quite there, but they are working on it. Price reflects this

This was a very nice stay. The room is beautiful. The pool great. The land is pretty and quiet with great birds and wildlife. It was very relaxing. Right across the street from a gorgeous beach. Not many tourists. Soft golden sand. Waves were big but people were swimming. I highly recommend Handun Villa. The manager is excellent. I will be back!
