Nagi - Vacation STAY 55367v

Family wanted to head off the beaten track and explore the outskirts of Tokyo - so we hung around the Narita area which made the lovely little town of Sawara within reach. We booked Nagi as it was one of two options that could accomodate the three of us during our intended period of travel. The photos really do not do the establishment any justice - it's just something that you'd have to experience yourself. Nagi is located on the second floor of a quaint little buidling - on the ground fllor is a cosy little cafe with a souvenir shop behind. What we didn't initially know was that the entire second floor - which can accomodate five - was entirely ours for our booking. And when we realised that, we thorougly made ourselves at home and enjoyed the space and hot tub in the bathroom. The master bedroom has a lovely alcove that overlooks the river at the historic part of town, lined on both sides with rustic buildings and houses that have stood for decades of not a century or more. It was really an experience waking up early in the morning and watching the townspeople go about their daily routines from the large windows overlooking the street. We spent one night in Sawara; Nagi and the vibes of the town left deep impressions on us.
