The location of the hotel was nice near the restaurants, ATM and supermarket. The hotel was peaceful because it was a little inside the main road. Room was decent, shower was fancy There is no elevators in the hotel. Breakfast options are very less, could have been better.

Ella is absolutely beautiful! We had a fantastic stay at The Ella, which offered a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the town, and features great amenities, including delicious food and a lovely swimming pool. Unlike many properties in Ella that are perched high in the hills, this one is right in the heart of town, providing easy access to everything while still offering great value. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-located and enjoyable stay!

I stayed here for 4 nights in total. My suggestion would be To make sure you book the Rooms with balcony as the Room without balcony would be facing some BackYard Which is not a pleasant once the sun comes down. I did not know this and was given a Room without balcony the first night. But the Staff were amazing and understood my needs as a solo traveller and changed the Room for the remaining 3 nights. Which was a great relieve for Me. Location wise, it is a short 5-10min walk To the town centre. The roads are well lit so walking at night is not a problem as long- i came back before 9pm everyday I would not recommend having breakfast in the hotel. The one day i decided To have breakfast in the hotel, it was infested with flies Which was such a put off. The manager was kind enough To wave the breakfast charges for Me though. Overall, I would stay here again when i am in Ella for the location and Staff who are very helpful.

Shout out to Niroshan who was very accommodating and went out of his way in attending to our requests. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we arrived early and was shown to our room with no hassle despite the hotel being busy. While it's very close to the city, it's also a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are equipped with the necessities and even has an air-con. Plenty parking space also available. We had an early morning train to catch and they surprised us with breakfast boxes. The gesture was very much appreciated. Thank you once again for the assistance!

Me and my sister stayed in 88th ella for 2 days. The hotel has an amazing pool and is in the city centre all amazing cafes are in walkable distance and easily accessible we had an amazing time exploring the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend people to stay here
