Hosts Madelein & Leslie were as charming as their historic B&B. Madeleine (and 'Liefie' the Boxer) welcomed us at the door with a smile and offer to help with our luggage, whilst Leslie was tasked with getting us a drink and getting the pizza over fire going. Our room was one of 2 that still has the original yellowwood floorboards, which creaked and reminded us that they dated back to 1860! The pool was sparkling and the gardens beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the serving staff were friendly and efficient. We highly recommend this place.

The Accomodation is functional and you have everything you need for a comfortable stay in the prettiest street and importantly, you can walk to Boplaas for a tasting.

Very comfortable but no practical work space in the room
Well appointed and comfortable, only drawback was the lack of a practical workplace in my room, would need to go into the main house/building to access a table to work from
