파라도르 데 바요나

Arrived on a Sunday and No staff no bellboy, girl at reception multitasking, phones, reservations and not in best mood. Our room was dark with a Small high window, had to look for a change. By now a new lady at the reception, cheerful and helpful upgraded our room to outstanding views from our wonderful window don't worry no over charge for the upgrade. By then you start appreciating the espectacular location and comfort of the Parador, courteous and friendly staff that makes you feel welcome.

The Bad Room: I felt in the bathtub because the holder came off the wall. Didn’t get seriously hurt, but would be serious for elderly guests. The screws were completely rusted. I asked them to check the other rooms. They offered a breakfast (18 euros) to compensate. Food: not expensive for a 4 star hotel, but also not good enough, other places have a better cost benefit. The Good Decoration and ambiance: very pleasant place, well lit and with good ventilation and spaces to rest. Location: the best, beautiful views. Service: all staff were very well trained and polite, some friendlier than others but overall good service.

Many places to wine, dine, hang out, journal, daydream, pretend you are medieval royalty. No need to leave the fortress, although the town is also wonderful.

Friendly staff in beautifully located parador with excellent food!
