We stayed in the Eland Room for two nights and had an amazing experience. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. We enjoyed doing our own braai, and the reserve provided everything we needed for the fire, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The highlight of our stay was the 9:00 a.m. quad bike safari—it's an absolute must-do! It was a fantastic way to explore the reserve. That evening, we also joined the guided game drive arranged by the lodge, which was equally enjoyable and gave us the chance to see the wildlife from a different perspective. Halali Wilderness Private Game Reserve is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The only thing to keep in mind is that the last 10 km to the reserve is a gravel road, so be prepared for a slightly bumpy drive. It's well worth it once you arrive!
