The location and property is superb. The rooms and coastal views are unchallenged. What help they do have are fantastic but like everyine today, they appear understaffed. The amenities need replacement. The comforter, pillow covers and towels are showing major wear which is not expected in this type of facility. Being that it's still off season they nicely upgrated us very quickly...nice touch. Location is perfect for a relaxing stay but yet close to the town of Mendocino.

My mom and I stayed in the traditional room for two nights. I was expecting nicer quality rooms for a four star hotel. Our room was spacious but some of the furniture had damage and didn’t feel as high end as I was expecting. As for the cleanliness, there was weirdly a potato chip underneath my comforter. I only found out when it poked me as I was sleeping. Not sure what happened for the chip to get there because none were with us. Staff are very friendly. But I wouldn’t stay here again and there are much nicer and affordable options around. Next time I will probably stay somewhere closer to town and cheaper. But maybe the more expensive rooms are better quality even though they are even more expensive.

Wonderful location for special Occasion romantic getaway

The location and grounds are incredible. The room was very nice and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the included breakfast was different every day and great quality.

my husband, my pet and I had a fabulous time at this gorgeous resort with stunning natural beauty ! I wish th resort add some activities for the guests staying and have a better menu in their restuarant.
