1st we added hazyview to accommodation to book holiday. This is the first hotel that pops up which by the way is 270kms away from hazyview. Leah the daughter of the manageress keeps on informing us we are 30kms away from kruger Park which in fact turned out 400kms We waited 5 and a half an hour for room service for a pizza We ordered frozen cocktails the blender is broken and no ice cubes was charged full price. We stayed for buffet braai asked what is the kids price they said half of 220. And was billed 4 x 220 for 2 small kids and 2 adults when I had to pay my bill they got amnesia on everything. It rained one day the manager said we can go fishing on their premises and its free well got slapped with another 400 rand bill for not fishing with the worse fishing equipment and sticks. We waited 2 weeks for bookings refund with excuse after excuse so unprofessional and the attitude that as a paying customer megan over speaks and interrupts constantly I dropped the phone . Have no management skills. It's a 3 star but food prices and small cans of soda is more than sun international prices. It's ridiculous. 10 cans of coloring cost me 1200 rand.. u order a glass of wine they don't bring a garaffe but pore 3 sips in and say that's their measurements. 80 rand a glass for 3 sips. It's standard and etiquette to pore so much wine on half glass if you order a bottle for the table not a glass wine. I would know i was the entertainment manager for 4 years at sun city. Dealing with high end guests . After speaking to the daughter Leah again about the kms we driving everyday to do activities she still comments , go to Mac mac falls It's 35kms Cleary doesn't know distance we ended up gps going 230kms distance to reach the falls. The worse management system in place. Deborah the receptionist is the best employee there. The management should really go on courses to see how to deal with people. Now they came back to say they did refund me and can't pay more and the extra money I paid in well they can't refund it. . 14 days later. This hotel is ridiculous with prices for low budget common skills and services. The cheffs food is great and the receptionist host Deborah is great but the mom and daughter is 2 unprofessional confused individuals. If you feel like paying a bragging barman over his cocktails that had no ice and food that takes hours and kiddies meals that cost 220 pH. Then this is your place with a quick smile and a bill later and secretly . She always changes what she says . It's free then bills it's half price then bills It's refunded but receive half. Then this is the place for u if you want to waiste ur time and effort

Malaga is a phenomenal and majestic Gem in the lowveld. Perfect place to kick back and recharge.

Malaga has changed ownership They have great pla s which are feasible Owner inspires confidence However our room was disappointing (suite) Not opened prior to our arrival , so stuffy and dingy Lots to be done there but new owners have great practical plans Could be a gem Give it 6 months and look for feedback The evening meal was terrible
