Washu Onsen Bizenya Koushi

- This hotel is a bit old,. - Many of the staff members seem to have been working there for many years. They are vey helpful even though some of them do not speak English. However, there’s an old lady at the reception speaks very good English, her professional service and help are impressive and highly appreciated. - The best part of this hotel is the beautiful sunset view of Seto Inland Sea. - Regarding facilities, the onsen bath is very nice.

Washu Onsen is good for seniors who aren't too active and require a lot of entertainment. If you're not in the onsen and don't have a car your sightseeing opportunities are limited. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The food presentation was wonderful. The breakfast could have been more tasty.

お正月に宿泊させていただきました。 フロントスタッフで研修生なのに気の効いた配慮等に感動しました。 温泉からの夕陽は格別でした。 ロケーション最高です。 料理の品数等、大変満足です。 味も文句のつけようがありません。 また、行きたいホテルの一つになりました。ありがとうございました。

A pleasant stay with ocean view (not all rooms). The staff is incredible, super helpful, kind and attentive. The public onsen area is not very large but private onsen (indoor only) was also offered free of charge, which is great to enjoy as a couple/family. The outdoor public onsen has a superb view of the Seto sea. Only issue is in the afternoon (3PM onward) the sun hits directly so it is difficult to enjoy. Some additional shade would be very helpful. The building and facilities are clearly older but the maintenance is proper. The dinner set was plentiful and very varied, showcasing excellent seafood from the region. Breakfast was more limited but nice. The hotel offers free shuttle to and from Kojima station which was incredible for us. Would have liked to see the sunset more clearly but the hotel is lacking any designated open spaces for this, which could be easily improved. The Taiko drum performance in the evening was AWESOME. Overall would return again if the price is right.

im not sure is this a fair review.. i book in error.. we got hard time to locate the hotel on google when we are in Japan, the address given is misleading.. lucky we check again with some foreigner who can help us to translate.. not recommended for foreigner.. difficult to go to the hotel.. the onsen view IS AWESOME.. but we dunno how to explore from there.. maybe more suitable for Japanese who are more familiar..
