バス停も目の前に有り バイクレンタル徒歩１分 コープまで徒歩５分 徒歩圏内に居酒屋など有り とても便利な立地です。 共用のキッチンやシャワールームもキレイでした。 御主人も気さくな方で色々と屋久島旅のアドバイス頂けます。 また次回もお世話になりたいと思います。

The host is very kind and helpful, he even drove us to Shiratani Onsuikyo entrance in the early morning just because we have missed the last trekking bus to Jomon Sugi Cedar Trail. And hence, we can keep continue to having a hiking starting at Shiratani Onsuikyo to Jomon Sugi Cedar and return to Arankawa Tozanguchi. Although we haven't finished the whole trail to Jomon Sugi Cedar, but we felt grateful for the hike instead of giving up with regard.

Located 15 mins away from Yakushima port on foot. You could get there by bus as well, but at the mercy of bus schedule. I would advise to walk over as you’re able to visit the information centre and also rental shops if you require any, before arriving to the guesthouse. There is free washer, without dryer function. Place is a traditional Japanese house, so do expect creaks and small walkways. Definitely not complaining as it is part of the experience. Rooms are spacious and kept clean. Kitchen area is available with complimentary tea/coffee and equipments to use. Host responds swiftly via Agoda app with detailed information pieces for a smooth check-in/out process.

This was just what I was looking for. A straightforward, classic Japanese guesthouse with tatami floors, very comfortable futons, and plenty of room to hang dry laundry. It's right across the street from the Miyanoura bus stop, making it ideal for the laziest possible early morning bus ride to Shiratani Unsuikyo. It's maybe a 10 minute walk to either supermarket, but the bus also goes those ways. And it's a 5 minute walk to the best restaurants in Miyanoura. One thing to note, this guesthouse is listed as Yakishima Park Guesthouse, but its sign and anyone you ask in Miyanoura will say it's Yakushima 89.
