The bed was very uncomfortable - hard mattress with very soft pillows that was very hard to sleep in. We had terrible night sleep. For the Easter price height we paid, this was not what we had expected.

Full English good. Stick to that. Room was clean but basic. Very hard bed did not deliver a good nights sleep

Friendly helpful staff; generous breakfast helpings; only slight niggle was some noise from adjacent rooms.

Good location in town off the main drag, so very quiet and, coupled with a very comfy bed, an excellent night's sleep. Cracking breakfast and excellent restaurant. Shower remarkably good for an electric. Great re-use of an old terrace property - so don't expect the lap of luxury - a pub car park was the view from the back - but it is excellent value for money - I mean, you spend most of your time in the glorious Welsh scenery - west to Aberdaron, south east to Harlech and Barmouth, north east to Snowdonia and north to Nefyn and Caernavon and Anglesey - cracking location - will be back.

We loved our stay here. Our rooms were clean and cozy, and the location is great. The breakfast is delicious. We highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Porthmadog.
