八ヶ岳を登り、ビーナスラインを楽しもうとお宿を取らせてもらいましたが、あいにくのお天気で残念だったけど、夕食もお腹いっぱい頂き、旅の疲れでぐっすり眠れました。 お世話になりました。

Guest House Shima Shima is your perfect place to stay for your Kamikochi Hiking adventures!!! If youre route is via Matsumoto or Shinjuku and wants to have somewhere to stay and no plans to visit Matsumoto then Guest House Shima Shima is the place to be. Its so close to Shima Shima bus and train station literally just outside the hotel. Its our first time to visit Kamikochi and we wanted via Shinjuku route and luckily we found this place in Agoda at a very affordable price or *** without breakfast for Twin rooms at 10 sqm. The room we booked has shared toilet and bath that’s why it was bigger than 10 sqm.a The cabin log style hotel is located along the main road in betweeN 7 eleven and the Shima Shima train station. We arrived just on checkin time and it was fast and smooth. We were on the 2f facing away from the train station. There are no elevators here because its a home style setup. The wooden fixture of the property were really aesthetic and giving you a real log cabin vibes. They provide slippers for your use and towels/sleeping robes are provided once but they offer free laundry services on the lower floor. I could not count how many rooms they have or if some rooms have private bathroom but there are rooms on both floors. They offer private sauna for 8k yen per hour which is a bit pricey for me and must have reservation. Behind the checkin counter ks the living room where you could hang out, chill and dine. They have in house restaurant but its closed during our stay (🥺) so the only meal we can get are the bento boxes from 7 eleven or take away from Matsumoto. Kitchen is on the 2F near our room and its pretty spacious and convenient. Have dining table for 2, sink, dishwashing liquid and sponge, microwave, mugs, big ref, Thermos with complimentary coffee/tea and segregated trash cans. At the 2F there are 2 toilets tor men and women. Lower floor have 2 showers and 2 toilets. One of them is quite big complete with powder room and bath tub. The whole place is heated during our still chilly stay at end of Spring. Our room is very nice, clean, big and aesthetic. Its a combination of log cabin style with Japanese touches. The beds are the star of our room - high with comfy/soft/thick mattress and blankets. They also provide comfy/fluffy pillows. There’s no TV in our room but WIFI is fast. We have compartments, clothes hangers, wall mirror and desk table. Lighting is perfect very cozy and warm with modern vibes. We have blackout curtains and power outlets in between the beds. Airconditioning and Heating works perfectly we can switch between them perfectly especially at night when the weather becomes cold outside. Water heating works perfectly, pressure strong and they provide complimentary toiletries in containers. We really enjoyed our stay here its very quiet, relaxing and comfortable!!! ผมเห็นรีวิวของคนที่จองแล้วไม่ได้ลองเข้าพัก แล้วให้ที่พักนี้แค่ 2 ดาว ผมว่ามันไม่แฟร์เลย ผมแนะนำให้ฟังคนที่ได้เข้าพักจริงๆ และให้คะแนนจากประสบการณ์จริงของผู้ใช้บริการจะดีกว่า 1. ตำแหน่งของที่พักดีมาก ใกล้สถานนีรถไฟและ สถานีรถที่จะเดินทางไปยังคามิโคจิ ถ้าคุณต้องการใช้เวลาเดินทางและชื่นชมกับธรรมชาติในคามิโคจิ ให้ได้เยอะที่สุดและนำให้พักที่นี่ คุณจะไม่ต้องรีบเดินทางและใช้เวลาได้เต็มที่ การเดินทางสะดวกมาก 2. ห่างไปแค่สองสถานี คุณจะเจอร้านอาหารดีๆอยุ่ 旬鮮厨房だいなモ อาหารอร่อยมากและคุ้มราคาสุดๆ 3. เจ้าของเกสเฮ้า นิสัยดี ให้บริการต้อนรับและให้คำแนะนำด้วยร้อยยิ้ม อย่างดี 4. อยู่ใกล้ร้านสะดวกซื้อ เผื่อคุณต้องการความเร่งรีบและสะดวกสบาย 5. ที่พักสงบเหมาะแก่การพักผ่อน หรือหากคุณชอบทำอาหาร หรือมากันหลายคน สามารถใช้ห้องครัว และห้องนั่งเล่นที่ทางเกสเฮ้ามีไว้ให้ได้เลย

The place was lovely with soft fluffy blankets. Very friendly staff (or owner). Very close to Shinshimashima station where buses to Kamikochi depart. Toilets and bathrooms were shared but they were perfectly clean. Highly recommend!

The guest house located very close to Shin Shimashima Station, so if you don't want to wake up very early to depart from Matsumoto then this guest house can be your alternative.
