The first night was okay as I was the only guest and the guest house host were friendly but when I extended for two more nights, it became a nightmare. The walls do not reach the ceiling and have gaps at the top, so you can hear everything from outside. Guests started packing and moving around as early as 4 AM, opening and slamming doors in the middle of the night, talking, and walking loudly. After guests left, the cleaning staff were extremely aggressive, mopping and sweeping loudly, and the mop kept hitting the furniture over and over again. Even though check out is at 9 AM, some guests are still sleeping, making the cleaning noise completely unnecessary. I could not get proper rest for two nights, which ruined my ability to enjoy sightseeing. There should be rules to limit noise at night, and cleaning could be done more quietly to respect sleeping guests.
