For me I wouldn't stay here again, but that's not too easy it's all bad. We paid under £64 for 1 night, checking in was awkward but we're shown to our room. The room was an ok size, for floor was slightly dirty resulting in bits in and on the bed. 3 windows but only 2 blinds... The mattress was shallow and hard. Breakfast was included and all waiter service, he was great, helpful with a little humour. We had plenty of choices.

Living history
Historic lodge in a unique location in the middle of the common. Cows, golfers and dog walkers all use the common. Loads of character but watch out for very low beams and uneven floors in bedrooms.Very popular with lots of patronage at the bar and restaurant.

Pretty Basic but if your looking for a cheap nights stay with great food and drink, then it’s perfect!

Great stay and food!
We stayed one night and enjoyed the room and the breakfast. Would recommend having dinner as well as the food was delicious and the portions are big! Thank you to the warm and welcoming staff who made the stay extra special!

Location stunning, food fantastic we ate dinner and breakfast we would definitely eat here again. Dog freindly and they don't charge which is a massive bonus. Our room was small but comfortable. My only issue was from 11pm we had bar staff stood directly behind us. Now I understand and appreciate last orders but this was a bit much as we were staying there I didn't expect that.
