Bamboo Bay Eco Resort

The service given is way above the average on the island. The garden is so beautiful ! The bungalow may be lack a bit of comfort compared to the value. The bench outside is really too narrow, we had to ask a chair to use the table as a desk. But overall the experience was great the staff super nice and location really great.

Fantastic location, relatively clean, but the service was very limited. There is no breakfast/food. The bungalows are lovely, but very close to other bungalows so we can be quite noisy. There was some construction work on site, so it was extremely noisy during the day.

We stayed here for three nights, and honestly we would have happily stayed longer. The location is excellent—many places are within walking distance, which makes it easy to experience the everyday life of this part of the island. Staying in the bungalow feels like being in a real jungle: so much lush greenery around you, with incredible views and sounds when you’re sitting on the terrace. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and everything was very clean, tidy, and well maintained. A couple of small things that might matter to some guests: the pool is on the smaller side (we only tried it once because the nearby beaches are great), and our bungalow didn’t have much space or many options for cooking. That said, we noticed some other bungalows have larger kitchen areas, so it’s worth checking if that’s important to you. We’d love to come back again.
