Simple modern budget hotel in surat for short stay will all basic needs. Only that you need to “exercise” to reach to your room (no lifts). The most important thing about this hotel is its coffee. Their smooth frothed milk and coffee crema still linger in my mind till now.

First, the positives: the hotel is located within walking distance (5-10 minutes) of the city centre, which made it easy to go out for the Night Market. The property itself seemed modern and had a cafe attached to it, in addition to being surrounded by small restaurants, stalls, and a large mall with a grocery store and cinema (playing movies only in Thai, of course!). However, there were a few things I would change about the property. For one, the staff was not friendly at check-in and made me wait for about 5 minutes while they served cafe guests. In my opinion, they ought to prioritise guests with luggage, or at least have welcomed me to the hotel, told me to sit tight for "just a moment," and then assisted me. Over the two nights I stayed, there was never any "welcome" message provided from the team, not even a simple "hello" (I understand the language barrier, but I have stayed at other hotels in Thailand and found the staff to be much more friendly). I also left a sign on my door asking for it to be cleaned during the day, when I went out to explore the town, but it was never cleaned, nor the toilet paper restocked (perhaps more important!). I had to get more toilet paper myself from a cart left at the end of the hallway. Finally, the "free breakfast" consisted of a loaf of bread and toaster, in addition to dry cereal (no milk provided). The bread is better than nothing, but I would suggest the hotel provide for a voucher for the cafe — since this seems to be the priority anyway! Finally, I unfortunately found a worm and small cockroach in the shower. I understand these things happen even in the nicest of hotels but felt it was worth sharing. Overall, I would stay in a hotel at this location again but would consider trying another hotel of a similar price.

The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping mall and a 7-Eleven, making it easy to access food, shopping, and daily necessities. Parking is available for guests, and the coffee served downstairs was excellent. The staff were also very friendly and provided great service throughout the stay. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. Basic amenities such as a toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided. The soundproofing was not very effective, and music from nearby bars could be heard from the room, especially at night. In addition, room cleanliness could be improved, as dust was visible on the floor. Overall, the hotel offers a convenient location, good service, and enjoyable facilities. With improvements in cleanliness, amenities, and noise control, the guest experience would be significantly better.

Simple, big modern room w lots of concrete. Great coffee shop downstairs and big,, wonderful evening Thai market nearby. 5 minutes drive to DMV, friendly and helpful staff..
