nice place, good activities to do. recommend renting a car since its pretty far from everything. however, room has loads of lizards and my friend had 2 snakes in her room

Excellent spot to settle down for a meal and relax for the night. Staff was super helpful. The bed was very comfortable, though the bunk beds include a very thin futon pad. The bathroom was spacious and private but is open to the outside around the ceiling. The river is beautiful, especially at night, and you have direct access straight out from your room. Great spot!

Strong smell when i step into the tent and the black stain on the tent ground yakkie. the attached bathroom is clean and the facilities is working. I don't understand why someone would put the air-con next to the bed!it is cold as the air is blowing to the bed directly. outside the tent, occasionally you will get a bad odour. Mosquito is still ok, there no need to worry about it from outside it looks nice and beautiful but the tent condition is really wearing out, the food served is pricy and that's the only choice you have it you choose to stay here. the only good rating i would give is the staff friendliness and also responsiveness. ALso maybe the newly build cabin would be a better option. I have opted for the bamboo raft river cruise with 300 TB per pax. If you cruise up and down, it is only 20mins thing but if you choose to swim or feed the fish then most probably 40 mins. half of the time we are left at the rocky side take photo and selfie. If you have time, you can go for the ride.

We had a great time at Cheiwlan. The bungalows are placed by the river and the view is beautiful. It is nice and quiet, and the restaurant staff very friendly. Not much to do around there so you'll have to book tours and activities closer to the lake.
