Nous sommes resté 4 jours au haad tien, le lieu est vraiment paradisiaque et bien entretenu, sur l’une des plus belle plage de l’île. Le personnel est à l’écoute et prend soin de nous, le restaurant est vraiment bien malgré des prix supérieur à ce qu’il se fait ailleurs. La météo est venus gâcher notre séjour mais le lieu reste magique.

A lovely beach position. We stayed in a castaway beach villa for 4 nights and a Villa for one night. The beach villa was a little disappointing versus the Villa. We booked it as it was right on the beach but actually it was a little tired, the lighting inside was very poor, the shower fixtures were tired and the beach doors were also very tired and difficult to open and close. It had very limited beach space as well in front of it and the sun lounger was a double that could not be moved. . It was clear that there were other beach villas which had better space for beach frontage so not all are like this. The gardens are lovely, as is the beach albeit there is limited sand space. I did visit this beach last year and I remember more sand so I am not sure if there was a particularly high tide cycle this year. The gardens are very restful and the pool has a lovely garden setting.

Stayed at Haadtien in a Haadtien Villa (505). The room was nice but in need of some upkeep or updating. TV not very helpful, didnt connect to any devices or show the channels - not that this matters too much but would be a better upgrade for a more expensive resort on the island. Room also under a big tree so the noises of the forest were much louder there. Do be aware youre in the forest and will hear birds and bugs! This didnt bother us. Beautiful setting with a stunning beach and pool area. Food at the restaurant was nice. Service great the vast majority of the time! Loved the pick up service from the ferry. Overall good stay and would recommend.

We booked three nights at this hotel as a highlight of our travel. Location and premises are amazing. Staff was ok too. But I think that price doesn't match the value of this hotel. Our overall impressive feeling went away when our sheets by check in were stained. I was sick and needed to sleep immediately so I only mentioned that to the reception the next day and they did apologize and change the sheets. They only had two bath towels in the room and two beach towels, no face towels provided. However when we asked they gave us two. Breakfast was nice with a good variety in my opinion. Restaurant has resort prices but that's normal. Swimming pool clean and relaxing, although it's floor could use a repair. They provide sup boards and kayaks for free but they charge for snorkeling masks (something that was free in our previous hotel). There are free shuttles to the pier and back and the reception was kind enough to book us a free ride to the pier when our boat was leaving earlier than the shuttle. Overall for this price you can get better value in other resorts in the island.

Can’t beat the view of Shark Bay from the room. Snorkel right off the beach to see beautiful corals. Food is slightly on the expensive side but understandable given the location. They have happy a decent beach bar with happy hour prices. The rooms are showing their age and cleanliness is average. The staff at the restaurant is amazing and food is tasty. As others have stated, the check-in experience can feel transactional and they could definitely improve on the warmth but it was efficient. We stayed at 5 different 5 star resorts during our visit to Koh Samui and nothing beats the unqiue location of this place. Definitely worth a visit and we will be sure to come back again. Our Room 310 has an amazing view and probably one of the best. Try to get that room if available.
