Very clean property maintained to a very high standard in terms of decor and furnishings. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice ( we chose the full Welsh breakfast which was very nice but was a standard English breakfast due to there being no cockles and laverbread . We knew this when we ordered it , however, so was not an issue but could be misleading. We saw online that to get the best price to phone the property directly which I did but was quoted more than the online price so we booked online. I queried this upon checkout but could not be given an explanation as to why this had happened. We had a very nice stay nevertheless and would recommend this hotel if you want to be slightly away from the city centre but still within easy reach of the main attractions.

Lovely historic hotel, very well maintained. Great location Included breakfast a bonus Pillows in room flat and need replacing We did go in 30 degree heat and the room was exceptionally hot the fan wasn’t really adequate, but then it’s not that often we have such heat.

Beautiful hotel on a lovely quiet street. Bed was a bit soft but it was comfy enough for a night. Clean hotel with lovely staff. Great choice of food for breakfast...fresh fruit salad was yummy and I enjoyed the thick bacon and juicy sausages!

Enjoyed our stay. Being close to town is an advantage. Parking is secure, but very limited and narrow bays, however nearby all streets are free to park. Breakfast is nice, finishes at 9 or 9:30.

Lovely room in a traditional hotel but with some modern twists - usb ports in both bedside lights. Lots of choice with the reakfast buffet and the cooked breakfast was really delicious. Breakfast staff were lovely. Very good location, less than 20 minutes walk to the Principality Stadium. Parking an issue if, as we did, you arrive a little later and there is a concert on at the stadium but would definately use this hotel again.
