It seems like a bit short of staffs therefore we had to wait for a long time to get service.No one was waited for us when we arrival,I had to walk in and find a staff to check in.The food was also disappointed. It was.either too salty or too sweety. Less food options for the morning and the buffet. The facilities was dated. The bath tub had draining problem and the shower can't provide enough hot water for us.The pool was not clean.The river in front of the lodge is dry in these days hence the view was lower than expected.

Good environment and outstanding guide while the management of the staffs, the facilities and the food provided was poor

Truly unforgettable stay
Our recent family vacation at Kruger Shalati was truly unforgettable. The location was perfect for our safari adventure – just a 5-minute jaunt from Skukuza Airport! The staff truly made the experience special. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, but a special shout-out to our guide Mishack for his expertise and attentiveness during the safaris. We were lucky enough to see all the Big Five! The rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. The plush beds were perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring, and our balcony with a breathtaking view of the Sabie River was the perfect place to unwind. The hotel's amenities were fantastic as well. We especially loved lounging by the pool, which offered stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The all-inclusive food and beverage service (F&B) was a huge plus. The meals were delicious with a wide variety of options, and the staff kept everything well-stocked. They even had a dinner buffet and entertainment every Saturday night, making it a great way to relax and share stories about the day's incredible sightings. Overall, our stay at Kruger Shalati exceeded expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable safari experience!

Phenomenal Experience
Absolutely loved our stay at Kruger Shalati. The carriage suite was amazing with stunning views. We loved everything including the amazing food and wonderful game drives. A stand-out at Kruger Shalati is the phenomenal staff - best service I have ever received.
