We just left Noren Yado Meigetsu this morning — one of the oldest inns in Tsuwano, preserving traditional culture across generations. We were fortunate to enjoy two nights in a quiet, peaceful, and quaint environment. Although the building shows its age and offers no frills, these are easily overshadowed by the cheerfulness, kindness, and thoughtfulness of the owner, along with the warm support of his son and daughter-in-law. They are truly lovely people. At this ryokan, guests can experience authentic local seasonal cuisine — we were treated to an abundance of delicious food! The inn is reasonably priced, and the service is excellent.

津和野にぴったりな宿
津和野散策にぴったりなロケーション。和風旅館らしい夕食。量も充分で、地酒も進みました。スタッフの皆さんもとても親切で、再度訪れることがあったら、また泊まりたいと思う宿でした。

Nice n relaxing
The owners are friendly and try hard to please. We get by with google translate :) Has attached bath with a small deep tub as well as a common private bath.

Charming family-run traditional place. The staff was friendly and helpful, the decor was appealing, the breakfast was delicious. I wish every place I started was this nice.

最高の食事と接待
津和野の観光名所から路地にちょっと入ったところにひっそりとある宿。古い建物で、大丈夫かなと思ったが、非常に丁寧な対応ですっかり満足。食事は夕食も朝食も素晴らしかった。これぞ日本の宿だと感じた。旅行が好きで，国内外沢山の宿に泊まったが、トップレベルだった。
