Hakata plus+

Right on the beachfront along the Shimanami kaido blue line with gorgeous views to sea and the Hakata-Oshima bridge. Lawson’s 3 minutes away and kitchen well equipped to prepare simple breakfast or tea. Owners were lovely and drove us to/from a fabulous okonomiyaki dinner. There are no taxis on this island and it is not advisable to cycle in the dark as there are limited street lights.

Solo traveler (though have previously stayed with children). This little hostel has everything you need crammed into an efficient set up. They even improved since my last visit and now offer some thicker mattresses to put under the futons if you're like me and need a bit softer bed. I rolled soaking wet and dripping after massive rainstorm dumped on me and they immediately gave me some towels and put my bike away so I could go change and dry off.

心配りが行き届いた素晴らしい宿泊施設でした。 きれいに清掃してあり、食器やこたつなど自宅のように快適に過ごせるアイテムが揃っていました。ありがたかったです。知人に自信を持ってオススメできます。

念願かなって1泊予約しましたが、とてもいい体験でした。大家さんの奥さんはとても親切で、何年も前にここを通りかかって部屋がなくてとても親切に助けてくれて、他のホテルに連絡してくれて、異国の地で私たちを温かくしてくれて、これからまた行く機会があると思います。もう一度心から感謝して、あなたたちの幸せ、楽しみ、健康を祈っています

My wife and I stayed here when we were doing the Shimanami Kaido bike route. The property is right alongside the blue line route, has a wonderful view, and is on a quiet/peaceful island. There are only a few options for food nearby but they're reasonably close to the property and the place we went to was great. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. It had rained a bit the day we arrived and they setup our shoes with some fancy shoe driers after we had taken them off and headed up to our room! I would absolutely stay here again if we were to come back to this island.
