The pictures are incorrect, the description (such as having AC) simply wrong. There is no washbasin for washing your hands and the toilet is so cramped, that you can barley sit on it. The bathroom also smells. What also bothered us, was that the owner were regularly burning their trash for hours directly in front of the hotel, the smoke being blown into your room and onto the terrace (which is a plus). Also, one of us got sick while during our stay there. After telling the owner that we have to prolong for 1-2 nights due to the illness, he increase the prices by 30 per cent for our room only online, in the middle of the week. The bed and the towels were washed though. They should clean the floor underneath the bed (clearly hadn't been done in months or years).

Room looks not maintenance, toilet worst and little.

If there are no high requirements for the room and the quality of services provided, then the hotel is quite suitable for staying there for a couple of nights.

I was unable to stay at Homestay Sakinah because the Air Asia flight from Kuala Lumpur to Padang, Indonesia was canceled due to the eruption of the Marapi volcano. Therefore, I request that Agoda can refund the payment that has been made in advance.
