Off -season visit. So the price was really good. They are pet friendly. The room we got was a pool view double room. Very nice. Clean, and comfortable bed. Staff nice and friendly The pool is a nice size but the eyes get really stingy because of the chlorine. Hiriketiya Beach/Dickwella beach is a 4 minute walk away. Some nice food and coffee shops along the road.

Firstly, make sure that you don’t book the standard bedroom, there is a window which seems there is a terrace, but if you go out you’re just coming into the hallway???. My shower was actually not working at all, the hot water aswell. And if you want to sleep longer than 8 a.m forget it because they are so kind that they start with their construction and they hammer and moving stuff around which is incredible loud. The breakfast is made without any love, you’ll see when you go there. And the smell of the mattress was disgusting .

Our experience at Hiriketiya Beach Resort was unfortunately quite disappointing. The room was much smaller than expected, and we faced several maintenance issues from the moment we arrived. There was water gushing out of the washbasin, and despite informing the staff, it was not fixed throughout our stay. The balcony also had a pipe hanging out of the wall with some white liquid leaking from it, which was very unpleasant. To make matters worse, when we checked in, there was constant drilling and construction noise. We were unable to rest in the afternoon because of the disturbance, which really impacted our stay. The breakfast was also below par and did not meet the standard we expected given the price we paid. When we shared our feedback with the manager, the response was disappointing. He seemed indifferent and mentioned that he had “allowed” us to stay an extra hour without charges. However, our Agoda booking clearly stated that the checkout time was 12 PM, so this was not an additional benefit. When we arrived, we also faced confusion around the check-in time. Our Agoda booking clearly stated that check-in begins at 1 PM, but we were told that check-in is only at 2 PM when we reached. I strongly urge the hotel to ensure their check-in and check-out timings are correctly listed on all booking platforms. Overall, the experience did not justify the cost, and I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.

fiquei por 02 noises no hotel. ótima localização. ficamos em um quarto com varanda. mas ha relatos de quartos sem janela. tudo muito limpo. o café da manhã tem quase a totalidade de comida local.
