Guest House Takiyoshi

We arrived early and when we opened the sliding door, we were immediately greeted by the welcoming voice of the owner, Reina who graciously led us to our room way ahead of the 3pm check in time. The rooms are spiffy and clean with two onsen bathrooms. The meals are top notch and the tempura deserves special mention for the light delicate batter that goes so well with the beer. Reina exudes the calm demeanour of a working mother multi-tasking her way to running a tip top guest house with her husband and a young child. We have to give her a big shout out for taking some time away from the guest house and driving out to help us retrieve a bag we left behind at a bus stop. Reina truly goes out of her way to make her guests feel valued and cared for!
