This could be an exceptional property. The view of the lake, table mountain and the local birds is amazing. The hotel is in reasonable condition and has two swimming pools. The thing that is missing is attention to detail and processed on how to run the property. A few examples were - no plates laid up for breakfast outside on a lovely day when all guests sat outside. An annoying slamming door due to high winds, where the lock had recently broken, was not tied open until I complained. The kitchenette didn’t have appropriate kitchen tools, washing liquid or kitchen clothes. The BBQ had no wood or charcoal. Breakfast was great but just chopping one avocado at a time means it instantly runs out. It wouldn’t take much management effort to lift this from a reasonable hotel to an excellent one. I would stay again and would hope the extra effort and staff training is applied.

Good food

This is a stunning facility. Beautiful surroundings and stunning rooms. They have been busy with renovation, which we were not informed about, and the staff is a little bit understaffed and overpriced. We will definitely visit them again.
