SeaGate Bungalows

It’s the most comfortable bungalows I’ve stayed in. I especially like their simple but useful facilities and furnishings which make my living super easy and comfortable. The bed is especially comfortable to sleep in. The meals are the best for me on this island. Food are fresh and well cooked, and generous in giving. Yuyun and Borja are warm-hearted hosts and experienced divers. I suppose my diving experience in Pulau Weh could be better if I had come here earlier for advice…the bay view before the bungalows is beautiful even though there’s no beach. However the water visibility was poor during my stays, snorkeling was not impressive. But I had a lot of fun in diving around the underwater volcano which is quite close to sea gate. Thanks to Yuyun helped arrange this dive for me in fair pricing. The shortcoming is that insects were spotted often. But I think this problem is common and inevitable for all bungalows. In fact I saw fireflies twinkling on the ceiling when I woke up at dark night. Insects are not always bad, sometimes there’s surprise.

My best friend and I stayed at Seagate for two nights, spending one night in the Deluxe Room and another in the Family Room. Honestly, our stay exceeded all expectations. Both rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful-lush, peaceful, and filled with colorful flowers and butterflies, creating such a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant served delicious food, and every meal we had was enjoyable. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. Borja, his wife, and the staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and always ready to help, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. Without a doubt, I would stay here again whenever I visit Sabang. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay, excellent service, and a peaceful getaway!

We had the most wonderful time at seagate. A beautiful and peaceful location away from all the crowds on pulau weh. There is amazing coral just outside the bungalow at the private beach, and all the gear will be provided by the hosts. Yuyun (host) can make you tasty local /european cuisine or you can visit the local village has lots of tasty traditional food options and Borjac (host) can provide excellent food recommendations around the island. You can hire a scooter from the owners or they can arrange a driver for you and will suggest beautiful and fun spots to visit. The bungalow /rooms felt like luxury compared to other places we have visited in sumatra, but because the hosts are so welcoming and kind this place feels more like a homestay where you can get to know your hosts and more about their culture. We loved this place so much we extended our stay! I cannot recommend more highly :)

Logement très propre avec terrasse face à la mer dans un cadre verdoyant, la wifi et la climatisation fonctionne parfaitement. Magnifique spot de snorkeling au pied du logement . Ici c’est le calme absolu vos nuits seront parfaites 👍 Quelques commerces de proximité aux alentours. Une cascade à découvrir , à pied… Les propriétaires Borja et Yuyun sont des hôtes d’exceptions, de vraies belles personnes. Borja nous a donné tous les conseils nécessaires pour bien découvrir l’île , Yuyun est une excellente cuisinière ❤️. Grâce à leur gentillesse nous nous sommes senties comme à la maison .
