古民家の良い所と新しいホテルのようなベッドや洗面台、トイレなどが良い具合に融合していて不便さを感じない古民家での宿泊でした！ 1階には瀬戸物ギャラリーなどもあり私は素敵な1品に出会い購入しました！ どうしても田舎道なので少し道が狭いと感じる所がありましたが、普通乗用車でゆっくり走ればちゃんと到着できます。 ジブリパークだけでなく瀬戸を観光するのにも便利な立地です！

We ended up staying in Seto because we were trying to find a more rural side of Tokyo. We didn't find exactly what we expected, but we did find one of the friendliest and interesting little towns we saw during our trip to Japan. I'd recommend to anyone to spend a day or two in Seto. And this hostel provides what you need to make the trip special. The place has what you'd expect of a hostel in Japan, lots of beatiful common areas with two separate libraries and even an onsite cafe. The surprise to us was that the place also had a pottery shop with local crafted pottery of all sorts. (We found that this is a big part of the local Seto culture, and there was lots of opportunity to explore historical and contemporary Seto pottery all around town). This place offers dorm style rooms and private rooms, with plenty of shared bathrooms and showers for everyone. Seto and Masukichi were a highlight in our trip to Japan. Highly recommend.

If you are visiting the nearby Ghibli Park and have to choose between a standard chain hotel or this place for the same price..... 100% choose this location. Yes youll need to walk to the local train but its only 10 minutes away. If you have a car there is parking. The place has so much charm, shared and private rooms, authentic local pottery for sale, drinks and light snacks for sale when you arrive. Complimentary coffee in the morning. Beautiful japanese architecture and lovely staff hosts. Its clean and the beds were very comfy with individual AC/HEATING in private rooms.

・古民家の雰囲気が心地よかったです ・MIYOSHIのハンドソープ、松山油脂のヘアケアがシャワー室で提供されていて化学物質過敏なので助かりました！ ・夜中に酔った他のお客さんが騒ぎ始めた場面がありましたが、スタッフの方がサッと対応してくれて良かった
