Court Colman Manor

Very big rooms, very big bathroom,and both clean with nice aura ,feeling like a guest of another era. Impressive listed building, in the middle of nowhere . I had the urge to persuade everyone play hide and seek in the building .Was a bit scary arriving to the place, but I appreciate did not help arriving late in the night and it was sooo dark! But morning view was amazing and breathtaking! Could have done a better maintenance and decoration but obviously put all the money on the landscape and that was really beautiful. Breakfast basic ( maybe too basic for me) but served with love and kindness :) maybe due to last minute restaurant shutting down? True I did not like being informed so last minute that the super chef leading restaurant suddenly closed for the weekend of my booking. I am sure everyone knew in advance except the guests.. Staff though very kind and helpful, in particular the night barman!! thank you all! I wish to visit again , felt I missed something , will explore more the outdoors and will invite Billy Joell (actual reason for this visit) singing there !

This is a great place to stay. It's a lovely old building that has probably seen better days in some respects but that's part of its charm in my opinion. My bedroom was large (I was upgraded) and comfortable. The meals were good - I'd say a 7/10 breakfast, and the Nepalese restaurant is great. Staff all very friendly and helpful and the room we were given for our meeting was magnificent! I hope to return one day.

We love staying here lots of memories of happy times . In a lovely peaceful setting.. Fabulous round and s great night sleep in comfort Great staff gentleman on desk was fab and aww lady serving us at breakfast was fabulous nothing was too much trouble thank you

Birthday trip away, booked a double room. Not fortunate as everyone seemed to be to be upgraded on arrival. Room was cold and smelled quite damp, had a bath to warm up, not the cleanest so cleaned before, restaurant on site lovely and lady was so welcoming. Food also good!! Slept ok but noise from 7am on a Sunday morning was disappointing, could have done with an extra hour. Guy on reception was nice on our arrival, lady at breakfast really nice. Breakfast I was expecting much more due to previous reviews. Fruit quite mouldy, miniature glasses for orange juice. Cooked breakfast to order quite small but tasty. No pastries !!!!!! For the price we paid I expected it to be much much better, we walked round the grounds and saw lots of glasses and bottles lying around. Not the special treat I’d hoped for. Decor in room seemed ok but on further inspection cracks and mould explained the smell.
