Mela Luxury Game Lodge

Bathroom smells of urine, thatch roof has things falling from it which were itchy. Not enough food at breakfast, not enough ingredients and options either. Dinner ends at 7pm which we found was early. We waited very long at the gate for someone to come open at night. A particular staff member was mean when asked for more plates, coffee sachets for the station. Nice rooms though. They prepare fire for you to braai, which was nice. Peaceful area, nice views of the bush and animals.

Well if the outdoors is your thing, well stripp up because you in for a treat. The staff was very friendly and willing to assist, the venue is out of this world, the rooms are very clean. The bonfire 🔥 was the best unfortunately the weather was not on our side but we still praised it. They have all the outdoor activities, game drive, paintball guns and quad drives. So hey you have your squad or just your partner you still going to enjoy. Best place for bonding. Thank you we enjoyed ourselves 🙂😊

Mela is understaffed so you end up not getting the service that you were looking forward to.we have booked for game drive for the afternoon but because the guy was doing everything alone he ended up forgetting us. The rooms are very nice but it could do with a tv .as for the food,disaster. I ordered pork ribs 500g had a lot of oil as if it was cooked by cooking oil and the size didn’t look 500g.
