I booked a hotel and airfare combo through this site and it turned out very costly. What I experienced in the past with these 3rd party travel sites, I went through again, this time with the airline reservation. Now granted I admit making the initial error of using my girlfriend's alias of Amy vs Amelita on her ID, Philippines Air was able to correct the name with a nominal charge. There are multiple errors here, first my incorrect use of her name; second acknowledgment from the PAL check in desk agent that our return flight was also corrected and third Agoda not placing her date of birth on the return flight home. All involved cost me another airline ticket of $300 (for a hour flight) to get home because the PAL agent in Basco wouldn't allow anything otherwise. It was a mess to say the least. Shouldn't take away from the beautiful, clean and great people of Batanes. It was my best experience in PH since my arrival 3 yrs ago and visits to other areas in PH, like Coron, etc. Hotel put us in a small room, but we didn't care, it was good enough for us, although I paid for a room with a balcony. All in all a great trip. If you've never been there I truly suggest u make the journey. We made our trip the first week of June, right before the rainy season and we had great weather...thanks to God. We were told Lantia was the 2nd best hotel in the area with *** being #1, but at a price of course. I prefer the location of Lantia cuz u can walk (about 1-2 blocks) to see the sunset nightly. After arguing with Agoda and my past experiences, I knew they wouldn't cover or refund my trip home. Beware to always double check your info before clicking that confirm button.

If you're planning to get married possible to request ahead if you want a balcony room, their normal couple room is small. Also you need to pay 5000 pesos for the coordinators holding area, which is for me is too much since they will be staying there for 2-3 hours only. Also they are strict when it comes to shootings on their garden even if you pay for it. So I suggest not here.

I was disappointed because I asked the front desk to have our room cleaned before we left for a tour, but it was never done. We stayed there for four days, and our room was not cleaned at all, nor were our towels changed. In other hotels, even if guests do not request housekeeping, the staff will usually at least change the towels. Unfortunately, the hotel staff did not bother to change our towels, bed sheets, or even replenish the drinking water in our room. The food at the hotel restaurant also has very limited choices. They should improve their menu selection so guests would want to come back. We spoke with other guests at the hotel, and they had the same issue as we did, the food menu selection is very limited. However, the hotel facilities are clean. The hallways and reception area are well maintained, and the airport service is very punctual and efficient. Noli the airport service driver is also friendly and kind..

Money worth for staying in… except that place is away from commercial establishments but overall if you’re looking for a quite place while resting after a days tour it’s perfect and having good ambience in the garden.

Staff are friendly and attentive. Cafe serves very good pizza and overall food
