Illovo central @ Sandton

Check-in was delayed . No info sent despite having completed the information needed prior to arriving. Took 2 days to get a roll of toilet paper towards end of stay. Coffee, tea and sugar containers empty. No bottled water on arrival. Blanket with burn marks and decorative cushion needs washing. Great location. Ironing board, hangers and other essentials available. Air-conditioning unit opposite was very noisy. Private owner...possibly unaware of the situation.

These privately owned apartments are not maintained. The aircon doesn't operate accordingly, we came in a Deep Freeze Apartment, you can't switch it to warm. Aircon takes long to switch off and it's automatically connected to the damn lights once you turn them on the aircon goes on blocking cold ass wind. The balcony section, is so dirty, you can't go there and chill... theres dusty/muddy spots... and broom and mops are there dirty. We notified the host. To which mo response whatsoever about these complaints.. You can't even call the host, only via WhatsApp. But on WhatsApp it's like speaking to those automated response bots. Only answer general info about check in (housekeeping) Overall experience is... not worth a penny of booking Illovo Csntral. The GHETTO
