The place itself is good-looking, but there are a few important issues that need attention. First, the bathrooms do not provide shower gel — only foam bath — which is not convenient. Basic toiletries such as shower gel, toothpaste, and lotion should be provided, or at the very least made available for purchase. The additional R100 charge for checking in after 21:00 is also unreasonable. If late check-ins are not allowed, this should be clearly stated upfront rather than adding unexpected fees. The house numbering is not visible, which makes it difficult to locate the property. Please ensure the numbers are clearly displayed. Additionally, the lady at reception (white/coloured) was very unwelcoming and made it seem as though she was doing me a favour by assisting me. Customer service skills need serious improvement. The housekeepers are constantly on calls and speak very loudly, which disturbs other guests. Overall, the place is nice, but these issues require attention to improve the experience.

Wonderful stay
I had the pleasure of staying at 22 Nicol Street Guest House and I must say, the experience was truly exceptional! The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive to my every need. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. But what really stood out was the amazing breakfast spread! [Attach photo of breakfast] The lady who took care of me was an absolute gem! Her kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail made my stay truly special. I highly recommend 22 Nicol Street Guest House to anyone looking for a home away from home. I'll definitely be back!

So the location being sub'd under another venue was not it for me, i initially made booking at 22 Nicol but my reservation was confirmed at 13 Hobson Street. Looking for 13 Hobson sent me searching the whole town for a location I can't find on the map it is not very well plotted in the map. With the help of agent I managed to locate the place much appreciated her help, I didn't like the forced check-in rule (after 21:00) if you check in after that time an additional R100 has to be paid i refused to pay it. The place was really clean nicely decorated with all essentials available, i loved the comfort open space it provided. I can definitely recommend just a few minor things to fix, otherwise happy customer
