Colesberg is a halfway overnight stop for our family to or from Kruger Park or other destinations in the north of SA. There are numerous options in town. Most adequate with heating and most clean. Tzamenkomst River Lodge is more than an overnight option. It is a holiday on its own. The beautiful decorated luxury rooms and bathrooms, with the sound of the majestic Orange River right outside, is a place to recharge and enjoy life. The restaurant is next level with the most delicious freshly prepared home cooked feasts. The staff is so attentive and professional. After dinner we had a cozy fireplace fire and freshly brewed coffee welcoming us back in the room. We will be back. This is more than an overnight option. It is a destination.
