At The Rocks Country Estate

The location was great for the purpose of the booking. The lady we dealt with (Zaza) and the security guy was very kind, friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the linen clean. However, the room needs a lot of maintenance and renovations. The toilet light didn't work, which created a bit of a problem in the early hours of the morning when one of the grannies had an upset tummy. The shower floor looked terrible, so no one wanted to shower before we left the next morning. There was a lot of dust and fluff under the beds, the floor tiles in the living area and bathroom looked dirty - perhaps it was just old tiles that doesn't come clean anymore and, in that case, could do with replacement. The kitchen cupboards and drawers were falling apart. The dining room table is only a 4-seater, but the room can accommodate 6 people. The material on the dining room chairs are torn and looks dirty. There were no cups or a kettle when we arrived, only 4 plates and a few teaspoons. The ceiling/roof panels are coming apart where they meet. The TV is so old that the image quality and colour looks as if it faded in the sun. There is a huge artificial plant (also falling apart) next to the clothes cupboard and left foot end of the one double bed, which makes it difficult to get to the cupboard and onto the left side of the bed. Some new paint, repairs, renovations and attention to detail will make a huge difference. I wouldn’t recommend staying At The Rocks Country Estate until their rooms have been amped up.
