Hotel & Backpackers Zak Schaffhausen

Nice hostel in a great location, only 2 minutes from the train station. The lady at the bar downstairs was so sweet and kind even though she doesn’t speak English.

The room was spacious and well ventilated. The location was really nice too, with cafes and supermarkets nearby. The host was also very accommodating:)

This place was one of the cheapest we could find because we were only staying for 7 hours to just sleep. There's a bar underneath and thankfully we stayed on a Sunday, so it wasn't loud, but I can imagine it gets loud. This is not a hotel, it's a hostel. It's fine and very close to the train station. Room had some space and shared bathroom wasn't far. The stairwell is small and tight. There is an elevator though. The room smelled so much like smoke that my clothes did for days. If you need just a place to sleep it's fine, but this place isn't the best. Also, the hours listed on agoda does not reflect the hours they're open. Thankfully people were at the bar, but we got in after 10 and nobody was answering the bell as we rang it.
