Basic, old-ish room, kept relatively clean but still had issues with insects getting in through under the door slit and bathroom pipe holes - which is understandable given the bungalow is in the middle of what used to be island jungle. Excellent location around the corner from Haad Rin beach and ferry port for Full Moon Party. Perfect for full moon party. By Thailand standards, price significantly high for very average room, but the location is worth it. The aunty and uncle running the place were always helpful. Communication worked with broken English and Google Translate.

The staff and the manager were genuinely very kind and welcoming, and we think it is important to mention this first. Unfortunately, our experience in the bungalow was difficult. Upon arrival, the room was not properly cleaned: the floor was still dirty, the bathroom was wet, and during the stay we discovered stains behind the door, which raised hygiene concerns. In addition, the mattress was extremely hard. My partner had recently undergone surgery, so we contacted the property about a week before our arrival through the Agoda chat to request a suitable mattress, but we never received a response. A mattress topper was provided on site, but unfortunately it was just as hard. After several very uncomfortable nights, we were forced to leave the property earlier than planned on January 25 at around 11:00 AM and book another hotel. Since leaving, we have had no further issues sleeping in our new accommodation, where the mattress is appropriate. Two friends traveling with us, who stayed in different rooms at the same property, were also disappointed with their stay, although they were there for a shorter period. It is a real shame, as the human side and the kindness of the staff were there, but the problems with cleanliness, bedding, and the lack of response before arrival had a significant impact on our stay. We hope these points will be improved for future guests.

Basic room but great location to the full moon party. Shower is fine and so is bed-nothing fancy. Room is big and having the hammock is a great extra!
