Sarasaya Ryokan

雨のため、次の日が朝早くになってしまったのですが、早くから朝ごはんのご対応をしてくださいました。臨機応変なご対応、本当にありがとうございました。

が、こちらの間違いで素泊まりの予約でお目当ての夕食が味わえず大失敗 近くのco-opもやっておらず、徒歩15分のスーパーへ買い出しに行きました ご主人に心配おかけしてしまい恐縮です 次は必ず、2食付きで予約します

Was cycling the Shimanami Kaido route and it was the perfect place to stay for a night.

The entire booking including breakfast and dinner for 1 room was AUD$***, which was very worth it. It was a Japanese room with tatami mats and everything was clean and comfortable. The host Joe-san is very friendly and checked if I was ok eating raw egg with rice and offered to cook it if I was not. The bath is a shared bath which is freshly warmed and cleared each day. Also very clean baths, and food was great. It is a slight detour on the Shimanami Kaido but I believe the views for the stretch to Sarasaya Ryokan is one of the best, which makes me want to come again just to see the view. Only downside is that nothing is really open in the street in the evening, but it was fine for me to just have a chill night after cycling all day. Great hospitality, great price, great host, what else would you want?

+ The owner of this ryokan were very friendly and helpful. feels like home + The food were super tasty. fish meal was so fresh and good + Bathing facilities was a bit small but good enough for soaking after long day cycling only 1 negative thing about this ryokan = location was a bit further from main shimanami kaido route (around 4km one way)
