“Buffelsdrift is a great experience and there is a lot to see and do. However, the region can get seriously hot and that makes it a bit more challenging. Generally, everything is pretty good to great. However, the tents and can get very hot and the air-cons are unable to cool it down sufficiently during the day. Also, to make the air-con work, you have to close the tent flaps so it is dark inside with no view. You essentially have to pick, view and hot, or slightly cooler with no view. There is also virtually no shade at the pool in the afternoons. If you can deal with heat, then it is a pretty cool experience.”
